Space Girl - Lagoa competition project

The 1st place winner of 3DTotal Lagoa online render competition (year 2014). In time of approximately 2 months there was necessary to model out vision of spacegirl and render it specialy with innovative online photorealistic render Lagoa. And there was the rule, that no post processing was allowed. So my sci-fi idea was mainly to interpret some young space girl’s first fallout with surprise-blush into wast deep blue space. In my research I started with movie Alien (that gave me idea of cold dangerous outer space), then - face expression I found in manga style (it is full of blushing girls, so it was perfect to learn right facial expressions) and finnaly as a big StarCraft and Dune novel fan I came down with spacesuit design. Cartoon style was chosen in matters of finishing my competition work in time. Software used: Maya, Zbrush, Lagoa online render, (Photoshop - only for texture creation)
