Blessed by the Gods (Ancient Rome competition project)

Have been participating in humster3d.com rendering competition “Ancient Rome”. The goal was to show own impression of ancient Rome. So I took the challange and thru free time of 2 months in evenings was working on this project. The idea: “People of the Ancient Rome rejoice, as the dawn of a new era is upon them. The new emperor is blessed by the Gods at the holy temple and welcomed by his plebeian constituents.”
P.s. All project made by me, no assets used from internet or any other resources. Due to massiveness of the scene it was split to 5 parts rendered out and composed thru layers later in Photoshop. Clouds are matte, everything else is 3d.
