Zerg Hydralisk (Hunter Killer) fanart (year2000)

Old good Zerg Hydralisk (Hunter Killer) fanart from far 90's StarCraft. Remember I was deeply impressed by design of Zerg and specially of this creature - it was something fresh, new and also very desturbing. Modeled it in couple of weekds in 3DsMAX. As this was pre Zbrush and Mudbox era, then I modeled all with splines (surfaces) - I guess eyes and bone-style elements was mesh-modeled. In materials used mainly bump, specular and some organic textures. It was my best tries of organic modeling at that time. Hope You enjoy my work.
